After 20 years of traveling throughout West Africa—researching and performing with legendary drummers and musicians—I developed a unique approach to Senegalese drumming.

My vision has always been to take this timeless rhythmic knowledge and philosophy into new territory. That pursuit led me to create a massive, one-of-a-kind drum set and to develop hybrid drumming techniques that took years to refine and master.

Through studying ancient musical traditions and rhythmic concepts, I discovered the power of layering. This approach allowed me to create percussion parts that feel both sophisticated and organic, reshaping my entire creative process. Layering remains at the heart of my music-making—an essential element in both traditional and modern contexts.

The next natural step was to build a library of loops and one-shots. Drawing inspiration from traditional rhythmic wisdom, I distilled its essence into a collection that respects its heritage while breaking new ground by combining drums from different cultures.
